Katy Perry has released another wave of inspiration through the lyrics of her highly anticipated new single “Roar.” The new single from Perry’s upcoming album, Prism, was leaked on the internet last Friday, giving fans a sneak peak at what “Roar” is all about.
Today Perry released an emoticon video for her “Roar”. The video features Perry creatively using emoticons to express the lyrics in the song.
For example, the new track features the “Firework” singer declaring, “I’ve got the eye of the tiger, a fighter, dancing through the fire / ’cause I am a champion and you’re gonna hear me roar,” over striking piano melody, pounding drum and brassy slurs.
The empowering anthem from the pop superstar’s upcoming fourth studio album, Prism, is now available on iTunes.
