Miley Cyrus Considering Move Due to Security Concerns

Miley Cyrus is considering moving from her hillside home in the Los Angeles area to downtown LA in order to create a more secure and safer environment around her.

“Miley’s security situation has been a massive issue for the last year, a source told RadarOnline. “She would like to come and go as she pleases and feel safe alone in her home and that just isn’t happening with her current house.”

Due to her high profile, numerous stalkers, crazed fans and even the general public are making Cyrus’ current home almost impossible to live in, especially with people trying to break into her house 24/7 to get a glimpse of the star.

“She’s thinking of buying a condo in a downtown L.A. high rise instead of continue to deal with stalkers and lunatics trying to break into her hillside home at all hours of the day,” the source added. “[She] has talked to a bunch of other stars — including her on-off pal Lindsay Lohan — who have had the same issues, and the fix is getting an apartment in a high-end, controlled entry apartment instead of living in a big house that is only really secure against intruders who don’t know how to use a ladder.”

Downtown LA seems to be a trendy place to move right now. “There are a lot of young professionals moving in and tons of hip new clubs and restaurants,” the source added. Even stars such as Johnny Depp, Nicolas Cage and Vincent Gallo have taken the move to downtown LA for a more secure place to live.

It is unclear when Miley plans to make the move but it will probably be after she completes her BANGERZ tour later this Spring.
