Mumford & Sons have recast themselves by enlisting a group of Hollywood comedians for their new music video “Hopeless Wanderer”.
The folk rock group has released the music video for “Hopeless Wanderer” off of their #1 album Babel, but don’t quite star in the video per say. The music video starts off with what you believe is Marcus,Ted, Winston and Ben performing their new single, but instead you notice something else… its not the band performing in the video at all!
Instead, comedians Will Forte, Jason Sudeikis, Ed Helms and Jason Bateman take on the roles of the Mumford gang, and perfectly lip sync the song. No, this is not another SNL skit turned into successful chart topper, rather Mumford & Sons using a creative way to release a music video by recasting themselves with Hollywood A-list comedians.
There is passion, crying, aggressiveness,and even kissing in the video brilliantly done music video for “Hopeless Wanderer”!
