Preview of Michael Jackson’s ‘XSCAPE’

As the release date for Michael Jackson’s highly-anticipated posthumous album XSCAPE creeps closer, fans are becoming more aware of what to expect on the upcoming project. So far, Sony has teased eager ears and dished out four doses of new material from the King of Pop’s new record, including a sweet, bass-heavy track titled “Loving You” that was recorded during the 1987 Bad sessions at Red Wing Studio in the San Fernando Valley and later completed at Hayvenhurst, and a Timbaland-produced track titled “Chicago” that was originally known as “She Was Lovin’ Me” and recorded for Jackson’s Invincible back in 2001 but failed to make the final tracklist.

Other never-before-heard Michael Jackson tracks shared from the forthcoming XSCAPE album include two versions of a track titled “Love Never Felt So Good,” one which features vocals from pop superstar Justin Timberlake. Listen to this version below:

Fans will be treated with more songs from XSCAPE before the album hits the shelves next week. Tomorrow (May 7), fans will be able to hear the track “A Place With No Name,” and on Thursday (May 8) another track titled “Slave To The Rhythm” will be released. The song, which features vocals from Justin Bieber, first surfaced last year and again last month when teased by Timbaland. The week of sneak peeks from XSCAPE will close out with the release of “Do You Know Where Your Children Are,” a track that was originally leaked back in 2012 and is reportedly about child abuse.

XSCAPE, which will be released worldwide on May 13, will feature eight new tracks from the late King of Pop which have been “contemporised” by several big name producers including Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins, Stargate, Jerome “Jroc” Harmon and Jackson estate executor John McClain.
