Prince unveiled a new single when he guest starred in a special post Super Bowl episode of “New Girl”.
Prince appeared in a cameo on FOX’s sitcom “New Girl” where he played as himself on the show. He sang a duet with Jess (Zooey Deschanel) for his song “Don’t U Wanna Fall In Luv 2nite?” at the end of the episode, but after the broadcast he unveiled a new song called “PRETZELBODYLOGIC” online.
It was actually Prince’s idea to star on “New Girl” and is apparently a “huge fan” of the show. Prince contacted “New Girl” producers last season, but was unable to work it out last year. The show’s producers said this year was “perfect timing” to unveil the new episode and single after this year’s Super Bowl broadcast on FOX.
The new track is expected to appear on his forthcoming album, Plectrum Electrum, which is expected to be released later this year.
