Rihanna kicked off her 777 Tour in Mexico City by taking a shot of tequila on stage in front of over 7,000 fans. ‘”Because we’re in Mexico, we have to drink tequila!” she shouted onstage during the first stop of her seven country tour.
To celebrate the release of her 7th studio album Unapologetic, Rihanna is “taking to the skys” with her 777 Tour which features seven concerts, in seven countries, over seven days. So Rihanna wouldn’t get lonely in the skys, she invited over 150 journalists and some of her most hardcore fans to join her on the tour’s private Boeing 777.
Journalists and fans are currently being whisked away to all seven Rihanna tour stops in Mexico City, Toronto, Stockholm, Paris, Berlin, London and New York.
Rihanna kicked off yesterday’s flight to Mexico City by saying, “Ladies and gentlemen, there is an emergency code f—ing 777. Who’s ready for Mexico? Who’s ready for tequila?” You can only imagine how big of party is being thrown at 37,000 ft right now.
