Sharon Osbourne Added to Witness List In Michael Jackson Lawsuit

Sharon Osbourne has been added to the witness list in the Michael Jackson wrongful death lawsuit against AEG because she claims she has information that will help Katherine Jackson and her lawyers.

“There were certain people that worked at that company that knew that Michael Jackson was not well and didn’t care because it was business,” Osbourne revealed on her television show The Talk. “And at the end of the day, whether he performed or he didn’t, they would still make money, and I’ve had conversations with certain people at that company who have said exactly that to me.”

“If they would like me to go to court,” she told the Jackson family on air, “I will stand up and tell you who said that to me.”  After hearing Osborne’s statement Katherine Jackson’s lawyers added her to the witness list.

Katherine Jackson is suing concert promoter AEG for $40 billion claiming they are responsible for hiring Dr. Conrad Murray and that he was an AEG Live employee at the time of Michael Jackson’s death in 2009.  AEG, on the other hand, claims Michael Jackson hired Dr. Conrad Murray as his personal physician and that he is solely responsible for the death of the late King of Pop.

Jury selection for the trial resumes this afternoon.
