Mirror Online is reporting that British/Irish boy band The Wanted is in talks with Mark Wahlberg to have a walk-on role in the upcoming Entourage movie.
The group, consisting of Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes, reportedly bumped into the producer in Barbados and the guys hit it off!
“The boys got on like a house on fire with Mark when they met him at Sandy Lane resort and they’ve kept in touch,” a source told Mirror. “Mark is a big fan and wants them to star in the film in some capacity. The Wanted are hot right now and Mark is right to want to capitalize on this.”
I can see how good ole Marky Mark is a fan of the group; it probably reminds him of his Funky Bunch days.
If you do not know who The Wanted are then you must be living under a rock. The group has already climbed their way up the Billboard Hot 100 to #4 with their hit song “Glad You Came” and will only get bigger as the summer roles around.
As for Entourage, the series finale ended with a lot of cliff-hangers: Vince headed to Paris to get married, Sloan was pregnant with Eric’s child and Ari quit his job and ran off to the French Riviera with his wife.
What can we expect for the upcoming film?
All Mark Wahlberg would say is that it will be “90 minutes of sheer craziness.”
