Trans-Siberian Orchestra Rocks It’s Way Into Toyota Center

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra will be rocking it’s way into Houston’s Toyota Center.  Named one of the “top ten ticket-selling bands” by Billboard Magazine, TSO will be performing two shows on Saturday, January 21, 2013.

With more than 7 million albums $280 million worth of tickets sold, TSO has completely reinvented the genre of “rock opera”.

“The whole idea,” says TSO composer Paul O’Neill, “was to create a progressive rock band that would push the boundaries further than any group before, following in the footsteps of Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Pink Floyd, the Who…but take it way, way further.”

The 2012 Winter Tour: The Lost Christmas Eve will feature a performance of the group’s 2004 release The Lost Christmas Eve.  Songs featured in the performance include “Wizards of Winter”, “Faith Noel”, “Christmas Canon Rock” and “Queen of Winter Night”.

Tickets for the concert go on sale Saturday, Sept. 22nd at 10 am.  Prices range from $73, $63, $53 and $43 for the 4pm and 8pm performances.  There are $30 tickets available for the 4pm concert as well.
