After hitting the road last summer in support of his 2014 album Mandatory Fun, “Weird Al” Yankovic has decided to tour again this summer.
This summer’s tour consists of 76 concert dates in North America. The 2016 “Mandatory World Tour” will kickoff on June 3rd in Pittsburgh and conclude September 24th in New York at Radio City Music Hall.
“I’ve decided to do the Mandatory World Tour for one more year, after learning that some people didn’t make it out to the show this last time around,” Yankovic said in a statement. “Apparently, they don’t know the meaning of the word ‘mandatory’!!”
Presale tickets for the tour go on sale Wednesday, February 24th at 10am local time. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, February 26th at 10am local time.
