Wiz Khalifa Hit With $2.3 Million Plagarism Lawsuit

Pittsburgh rapper Maxamillion has filed a $2.3 million plagiarism lawsuit against Wiz Khalifa claiming that Khalifa’s hit single “Black and Yellow” copied elements from Maxamillion’s song “Pink and Yellow”.

Maxamillion, whose real name is Max Warren, claims to have copyrighted the song “Pink N Yellow” back in 2008; three years before Wiz Khalifa copyrighted “Black and Yellow”.

A source close to the Wiz reported to TMZ “Wiz has never heard of this guy … it’s just a plot that happens all the the time to rappers to get money. This is just some no-name rapper who wants to get paid.”

According to Rolling Stone, the lawsuit, filed in a Philadelphia federal court, names “Khalifa along with two other songwriters and an assortment of record companies and music publishers.”

Check out the allegedly plagiarized song below against the original.  Do you think Maxamillion has a case?
