HOUSTON – After a day of rehearsal, the singers performed as groups for “American Idol” judges Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez and more of them were eliminated.
Once the competition was whittled down to 98 performers, the judges had to visit four rooms with the singers waiting to learn if they advanced to the next round.
The chosen singers will prepare to perform for the judges in Las Vegas.
