The band Hoobastank released a new album, “Fight or Flight” on Tuesday, Sept. 11, the seventh for the group, but the first since “For(N)ever” in 2009.

“First of all, it’s Jesse’s baby, his idea musically.  Which is different for us.  And then we also did this record with a different producer which is different for us.  You know what hadn’t done that in a long time so there’s elements all over the place that kind of add a freshness to it, you know,” said Hoobastank lead guitarist Dan Estrin in an interview with Backstage OL.

Sally Fields, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tommy Lee Jones are among the cast members in “Lincoln,” the biographical movie about President Abraham Lincoln, directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Daniel Day-Lewis, based on the book “Lincoln, Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln” by Doris Kearns Goodwin.

“Lincoln” will be released in selected theaters on Friday, Nov. 9 with a wide release on Friday, Nov. 16.

The UPROAR FESTIVAL takes place Saturday, Sept. 15 at  Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands and features Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind, Adelita’s Way, and P.O.D.

Train will also perform at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on Friday, Sept. 14 with Matt Kearney as the opening act.
