Former Sonny with a Chance star and X Factor judge Demi Lovato is ready to make her return to acting this fall.
Reportedly, Lovato will be appearing in at least six episodes of Glee. The young actress will be playing a struggling artist named Dani, who befriends Rachel (Lea Michele) and Santana (Naya Rivera). Lovato’s character will also interact and perform alongside former American Idol contestant Adam Lambert.
Lovato’s appearances in Glee will mark her first debut into acting since leaving the hit Disney Channel show Sonny with a Chance in 2011.
Lovato’s multi-episode arc is set to kick off during the October 3rd episode, the second part of two episode Beatles-themed tribute. It is still unclear which episode Lambert will make his first appearance.
The fifth season of Glee begins on September 26th. The show will go on hiatus after a tribute episode to late star Cory Monteith airs on October 10th to determine the future direction of the show.
