Malcolm in the Middle star Frankie Muniz released a message on Twitter today saying he has suffered a stroke.
The 26-year-old actor wrote on his Twitter handle @frankiemuniz
“I was in the hospital last Friday. I suffered a “Mini Stroke”, which was not fun at all. Have to start taking care of my body! Getting old!”
TMZ reported that friends of Muniz realized the actor was not feeling well when he began to slur his words and “acting really weird.”
Since starring in Malcolm in the Middle, Muniz has pursued a career in Open Wheel Racing and is now a drummer in the band Kingsfoil.
Doctor have not released the cause of Muniz’s stroke. He will celebrate his 27th birthday tomorrow.
