Lamar and Khloe Kardashian Odom have pulled the plug on their reality television show Khloe & Lamar on E!
TMZ is reporting that the show’s second season will be it’s last because Lamar wants to focus on his struggling NBA career.
After being traded to the Dallas Mavericks from the Lakers, Lamar put up the worst numbers in his career. Maverick’s owner Mark Cuban put Odom on the inactive roster after several heated confrontations.
“Everybody goes through ups and downs. Every player does. We tried to put him in a position to succeed. You guys saw it, saw what we did. It didn’t work,” Cuban told ESPN. “I just asked him, does he want to go for it or not? Is he in or is he out? I think he thought we were playing poker. I just didn’t get a commitment. And that was the end.”
Odom responded, “I’m sorry that things didn’t work out better for both of us, but I wish the Mavs’ organization, my teammates and Dallas fans nothing but continued success in the defense of their championship.”
The Mavericks will most likely trade Odom at the end of the 2012 season.
