Gears of War 3 and F1 2011 Released This Week

One of the most anticipated games of 2011, Gears of War 3 had over one million pre-orders before the game was released today.

For the first time in the Gears of War series a four-player co-op has been introduced.  Add to that the Silverback, a fully controllable mech suit thats includes a machine gun and rocket launcher, and the new BEAST mode, any Gears of War fanatic should be thrilled about the series final installment.

The game is already receiving universal acclaim, gaining a score of 9.1 on IGN and a 91 on Metacritic.

Four versions of the game are available:

1. Retail Version
2. The Limited Edition – includes an Octus Award Box with Octus Service Medal, a Dr. Adam Fenix playable character, COG flag and personal items of Dr. Adam Fenix including his Last Will and Testament, Hammer of Dawn schematics and Fenix family mementos.
3. The Epic Edition – includes everything from the Limited Edition plus a Marcus Fenix statue, a book about the game’s artistic development and the Infected Omen Weapon Pack.
4. Gears of War 3 Bundle – includes headset, two wireless controllers, a 320 GB hard drive and the Adam Fenix and Infected Omen Weapon Pack.

F1 2011 is the sequel to Codemaster’s F1 racing game FORMULA ONE. Developed under an exclusive agreement with Formula One World Championship Limited, F1 2011 gives players a new perspective on multiplayer gaming, championships, drivers, rules and tracks.
