With more than $400 million earned in the U.S. it was just a matter of time before Warner Bros. would announce its No. 1 release of 2017, Wonder Woman, for Blu-ray. That day is today. In an official statement, the studio has confirmed that the golden-lasso sporting superheroine will make her arrival to 4K UHD, Blu-ray 3D, and Blu-ray on September 19. Those who prefer Digital delivery can purchase and watch the film as early as August 29.
The big tease is that the various Blu-ray releases will include a bonus scene that never made its way to theaters!
Before she was Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot (Chris Pine) crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat.
