Tracy Morgan Returns to Guest Host SNL

NBC has released the first three guest hosts for the 41st Season of Saturday Night Live. The most noticeable of the three hosts is SNL alum Tracy Morgan. The return of Morgan to studio 8H is a swan song of sorts for the comedian.

On June 7th, 2014, Tracy was in a near fatal accident that took the life of his friend James McNair, aka Jimmy Mack. The accident was caused when a Wal-Mart trailer hit Tracy’s limo injuring multiple people and taking the life of his friend in New Jersey.

After nearly a year in recovery Morgan had his first interview on June 1st, 2015.  “I cant believe I’m here,” Tracy said in his interview with Today.  He was humbled by the experience, thankful to be alive, and hoping to make people laugh again.”I love comedy and I cant wait to get back to her,” said Morgan.

The wait won’t be long now that Tracy is set to guest host SNL on October 17th, 2015. The episode of  the famous sketch comedy show will sure be on fans watch list. It’s been over a year since he has come back to his comedic side, and for fans it feels like an eternity.

The two other guest hosts announced were Miley Cyrus and Amy Schumer.

Coming off hosting the MTV Video Music Awards on August 30th, 2015, Cyrus is sure to be the celebrity every one will be talking about during the second half of the year. With her third guest hosting duties coming on SNL’s season premiere, its sure to be a great display of Cyrus’ performing talent during her post twerking era.

For Amy Schumer though its only the icing on the cake for her impressive comedic career. After hosting the MTV Movie Awards in April, releasing her now Emmy nominated comedy show Inside Amy Schumer, and her cridically acclaimed film Trainwreck, the sky is the limit for her. It’s only necessary for Schumer to host October 10th’s episode of SNL since she has quickly became 2015’s “It” girl.

While these three guest host are a perfect start to SNL’s season, all eyes will be on Tracy Morgan’s return to studio 8H!

SNL returns on October 3rd, 2015 at 10:30PM CST.
