Lady Gaga appears as the famous Miss Piggy in the official teaser trailer for the upcoming holiday special Lady Gaga & the Muppets’ Holiday Spectacular.
The ARTPOP singer is seen in the short clip wearing a pink fluffy ensemble with a matching enormous pink feathery hat, and rocking a pair of glamorous pink shades, just like the absent Muppet Miss Piggy would. In the clip, Gaga discusses with Kermit the Frog, Beaker and the rest of the Muppets gang on how they can make the “greatest finale in the history of finales” for their Thanksgiving holiday special.
This will be the second time Gaga has appeared on The Muppets’ 90-minute holiday special, and she is excited to hang with the gang again!
“Can’t wait to see the gang again, and I hope Miss Piggy’s still not mad about Kermit,” she continued. “We’re just friends!”
During the holiday special Gaga will perform songs from her new album ARTPOP, and will even sing “Applause” with several of the Muppets, including a duet with Kermit the Frog. Sir Elton John, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and RuPaul will also appear in the holiday special and sing duets with the Muppets as well.
Lady Gaga & the Muppets’ Holiday Spectacular airs on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 28 at 8:30p.m CST.
