Beyonce Becomes New Face Of Pepsi

Beyonce Knowles has signed a deal reportedly worth $50 million with Pepsi for their ‘Live for Now’ campaign.  As part of her contract,  the ‘Love On Top’ singer will have a series of limited edition cans available next March.

“Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve,” Beyonce commented on her recent signing with Pepsi.  “As a businesswoman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity.”

Brad Jakeman, president of PepsiCo’s global beverage group, added, “Consumers are seeking a much greater authenticity in marketing from the brands they love.”

We will begin to see Beyonce as the new Pepsi girl in February when she will perform at the 2013 Superbowl Halftime show, sponsored by Pepsi.

Pepsi will also appear as a sponsor at many of her concerts as well as promotional partner for her fifth studio album, due out next year.
