Pop star Miley Cyrus and superstar boy band One Direction have been in friendly competition over who can rack up the most views on VEVO in the shortest period of time.
Miley Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop,” the first single from her upcoming fourth studio album Bangerz, broke a previous record for the most-watched VEVO video in one day when it debuted on VEVO back in June. One Direction stole the title, however, in July when the group released their “Best Song Ever” music video and hit 12.3 million views in 24 hours.
Miley Cyrus has once again snagged the title for the most-watched VEVO video in one day with her newly released “Wrecking Ball” music video, which quickly garnered 19 million views in less than 24 hours and left “Best Song Ever” trailing in the dust. One Direction’s fun and friendly video was no competition for Miley’s naked wrecking ball grinding and swinging, and erotic sledgehammer licking. Check out the sex-crazed video below.
There is technically no nudity in the clip, but the video is suggestive enough to be flagged for explicit content. Congrats, Miley. The spotlight is once again beaming on you. Mission accomplished, right?
